SpineGym is a favourite and recommended device by physiotherapists and physicians across the world. Since its launch, it has gained tremendous popularity in home and office use. The simple Scandinavian design also sits in a sophisticated interior thanks to its sleek appearance.
Unlike any other exercise device!
Unlike other commonly used midsection exercise equipment, SpineGym allows exercises to be carried out in a natural position, standing up, and with small movements. SpineGym is also suitable for people with back problems, whose symptoms are aggravated by more extensive movements and uncomfortable positions.
Suitable for all sizes and ages
SpineGym has three different pole attachment points on each side of the stand, which allows the width of the poles to be adjusted to suit all sizes and users. The low-profile base makes the device stable and easy to use.
SpineGym has been designed to be used within Physios/workplaces and of course in the comfort of your own home. There is enough strength and torque in the composite bars for consistent use.

SpineGym is suitable for everyone, including groups with special requirements. The exercises are carried out either standing up or sitting down, depending on the SpineGym exerciser model. Strengthening the abdominal and back muscles is particularly important for people with back or balance problems, who already suffer from issues caused by weak muscles.
Just 4 or 5 minutes of exercise 3 or 4 times a week is enough. Results will become apparent soon after starting regular exercise. The pace of development depends on how strong the stabilizer muscles were to begin with, on whether the exercises are performed in the correct position, and on how regularly they are carried out.
Strengthening the deep core muscles that are essential for posture is important for everyone, and you can start training anytime. SpineGym training is especially beneficial to you if you suffer from regular back pain, your physical ability or work ability has decreased, or your work involves long periods of sitting still. SpineGym training is also effective in preventing backaches from arising at all. Strengthening stabiliser muscles with SpineGym training can also boost your performance in your specific sport. Exercising the midsection will have a positive impact on balance within a few weeks for people of all ages.
If you spend long periods sitting down, your deep core muscles become deactivated. Then, when you stand up, you back lacks the protection provided by these muscles. Good ergonomics and correct working postures are important but your body also requires physical activity. Regular exercise with the SpineGym helps prevent this deactivation by activating tight hip flexors, loosening up the chest muscles, and improving spine mobility and blood flow in the area. The training affects all the deep muscles and posture, from the calves to the shoulders and neck. When your muscles are mobile and loosened up, you find it easier to carry out your daily tasks.
You can use SpineGym wherever you like: At home or work; even in a hotel room. The lightweight device is quick and easy to pack in a bag and to take with you on any trip. If you always train in the same place, it is easiest to keep SpineGym assembled and ready to use. This stylish training partner does not need to be stashed in a cupboard or under the bed.
Unlike other commonly used midsection exercise equipment, SpineGym allows exercises to be carried out in a natural position, standing up, and with small movements. Because of this, SpineGym is also suitable for people with back problems whose symptoms are aggravated by more extensive movements and uncomfortable positions.
Strong stabiliser muscles and good posture play a significant role in maintaining well-being and physical ability in older age. They also contribute to good balance and coordination, which help reduce the risk of falls. SpineGym training also comes in handy in the rehabilitation of muscles after illness, injury, or an operation. The exercises can be carried out either standing up or sitting down, depending on the SpineGym model.

Yes SpineGym can be used in conjunction with the degeneration of the whole spine. As this condition changes quite drastically from person to person, we advise to get advice from your physio/doctor to see if SpineGym could be suitable for yourself
For some cases yes SpineGym is very suitable. Both problems can be so different from one person to another. For example scoliosis can be so “light”, that the person doesn’t even know having it. On the other hand it can be so severe, that it totally distorts the posture, making it sometimes impossible to get into the training position. So the answer is yes, but the final answer for the personal suitability comes only by having tested the device.
Yes SpineGym has been used following spinal decompression surgery. The trick is that the exercise needs to be done VERY carefully. At the beginning it is only about stretching up in the device so, that the belt & shoulder paddings give just a minimal resistance to this “straightening of the back”. The same is valid also for the abdominal side; very, very small movement with just a hint of force. The rotatory movements are completely forbidden. At a later stage they can be performed, but with just a very small movement. The core muscles are activated already with a slightest of movement. Actually the core is exercised most effectively when the force used remains under 30% of the maximal force
We work in partnership with the London Spine Clinic to bring you a product that has been designed to strengthen spinal core muscles. The clinic thinks the product is fantastic, on a weekly basis they recommend the product to their clients both pre/post operation for spinal surgeries.
